Tarpon Explosion is a unique in that I directly copied my own painting and recreated it in the style of my Bright Series paintings. This painting was actually more difficult to paint than the more photorealistic oil painting Tarpon at the Boat. Like it's Bright Series companion pieces Shake That Thing and Sailfish Bright, I used using silver or gold metallic paint on the originals. Each print is retouched by hand with the metallic paint for fidelity to the original. This print is available on paper or re-sized in a square format to be printed on canvas as a pop art piece.
